The Dakota Cougars defeated Chippewa Valley in a Week 5 Macomb Area Red Conference matchup last week to keep a perfect 5-0 record.

The final score was 28-17 and the Big Reds gave Dakota possibly the toughest matchup of their season so far.

Coming off the win, Dakota made the number 3 rank on the AP’s Division 1 Michigan football rankings. They’ll look to preserve their ranking and perfect record in their Week 6 matchup against the Romeo Bulldogs.
